    • Job Responsibilities:

    CBUFT seeks applications for the post of Lecturer/ Assistant Professor/Associate Professor of the above-mentioned departments where the successful candidates will be responsible for the following tasks:

    • To teach undergraduate courses as per approved OBE curricula & guidelines of the university in the areas of TCT/FD/FDT/AMM/TE/TEM.
    • To provide quality service and leadership to the Departments.
    • To contribute to research through a good number of quality publications.
    • In the field of teaching, the successful candidates will share their knowledge at the undergraduate level innovatively and professionally.
    • To ensure that teaching content is accurately informed for the current time and the fourth industrial revolution when new technology will be necessary.
    • To develop pedagogical techniques designed to meet the needs of diverse learning styles and intellectual interests.
    • Any other duties assigned by the University Authority.

    Educational Requirements: Lecturer
    1. Department of Textile & Clothing Technology (TCT):

      B.Sc. in Textile Engineering/Technology (Major: Apparel/Garments), B.Sc. in Textile & Clothing Technology (TCT)/Apparel Manufacturing & Technology (AMT) from reputed University.

    2. Department of Fashion Design & Technology (FDT):

      Masters with Honors in AMT/FDT from a reputed University.

    3. Department of Fashion Design (FD):

      Masters with Honors in FD/FDT from a reputed University.

    4. Department of Apparel Merchandising & Management (AMM):

      M.Sc./B.Sc. in Textile Engineering (TE)/Textile Engineering & Management (TEM) and M.Sc. / B.Sc. in Apparel Manufacturing & Technology (AMT)/ Apparel Merchandising & Management (AMM) from reputed University.

    5. Department of Textile Engineering (TE):

      M.Sc./B.Sc. in Textile Engineering (TE)/Textile Engineering & Management (TEM) from a reputed University.

    6. Department of Textile Engineering & Management (TEM):

      M.Sc. / B.Sc. in Textile Engineering (TE)/Textile Engineering & Management (TEM) from a reputed University.

    Educational Requirements: Assistant Professor
    1. Department of Textile & Clothing Technology (TCT):

      B.Sc. Hon’s & M.Sc. in Textile Engineering for TCT department and 4 years Hon’s with Master's in FD/FDT from a reputed University. Must have achieved at least 03 x First Class/Division/A Grade in the entire educational credentials. At least 03 years of teaching experience at the university level and must have 03 publications. OR. M.Phil. in TE/ FDT/FD with at least two First Class/Division/A Grades. At least 03 years of teaching experience at the university level and must have 01 publication. OR. Ph.D. in TE/ FDT/FD with minimum two First Class/Division/A Grade. At least 02 years of teaching experience at the university level and must have 01 publication.

    Educational Requirements: Associate Professor
    1. 1.Department of Textile Engineering (TE) & Textile Engineering & Management(TEM):

      Ph.D. in TE/ TEM with minimum two First Class/Division/A Grade. At least 07 years of teaching experience at the university level and must have 05 publications complying with UGC policy OR. M.Phil. in TE/ TEM with minimum two First Class/Division/A Grade. At least 08 years of teaching experience at the university level and must have 05 publications complying with UGC policy. OR. B.Sc. Hon’s with M.Sc. in Textile Engineering/Textile Engineering & Management (TEM) from a reputed University with a minimum of three First Class/Division/A Grade.

    At least 10 years of teaching experience at the university level and must have 06 publications complying with UGC policy.

    Additional Requirements:
  • Teaching experience at the university level is preferred. 
  • Industry experience will be considered as an additional qualification.
  • Competent to conduct Core Courses of the respective department.
  • Must have at least 03 x First Class/Division/A Grade in the entire educational credentials.
  • No Third Division/Class/ C Grade is acceptable.
